There is a huge coding problem here.

It won't let me switch to any other gun once I've chosen the freezing one during an invasion. Clicking neither the gun, nor the icon does anything to switch weapons.

fail.

I've never seen that bug before. You can save the game and restart it until I figure out the problem.

Pretty Good

A simple yet elegant game design with a good idea behind it. I jsut kind of feel like there should be a little tighter tether from the ball to the mouse and maybe a touch stronger gravity. Otherwise great job!

Overall Excellent!

Though the 20 troop cap and the fact that one can't "undo" were a bit annoying, this was a simple, addictive, yet playable game that was thought out and well tuned. I think the one thing that would make this game better, besides tweaking a few of the upgrades and troop caps, would be adding a single battle or experiment mode. Besides that, this was a solid and well put together game.

Hey Thanks for the review, the troop cap, was mainly because if we have more then 20 units then the other side has 20 units, now we have 40 units all at once on the screen and it will slow down the game quite a lot. Maybe one day when the average computer is faster we will have some massive armys. The undo, was something we thought about for a while but in the end we decided not to put in an undo.?

Some pointers...

It was ok, but there are some things that I think need to be taken care of before you upload the final one.

First of all, you should implement some sort of action button/key. It was really annoying to have to move the mouse around and click every "next" button, especially since I'm on a lap top. Second of all, there needs to be some kind of hurt animation, where the character recoils when he's hit. It was hard to monitor my health when literally nothing happened when a monster hit me. Thirdly, it seemed there were a lot of typos and minor spelling or grammar errors (and I'm not talking about appropriate speech habits). A quick proofread of all the texts in the game should do the trick for that one. Finally, you really should have put sound in it. The demo is a really good way to get suggestions about aspects of the game, and by not having any sound you kept your audience from critiquing a very large part of the game.

So yeah, there you have it. It is a pretty good idea and you have most of your bases covered, you just need to put in a few extra miles and polish this thing off.

Fun as hell.

This game is simple and addicting. Nuff said.

This is

an incredibly addicting and fun little game. The concept is clever and the game is put together well, taking into consideration graphics, physics, and the over all asthetics of the game (including music choice). Great job. 5/5

Welllll

It was great to play! I got addicted right away and played for quite a while. It is a good version of an older game; typically remakes or revamps can really suck but this was quite good. The only issue I had was that the enemies were so tiny the only thing I could rely on was spread shot and rapidfire (holding down the fire button). Stil great fun though. 5/5

Pretty good, however,

there are certain parts of this game that are simply more frustrating rather than challenging. The amount paid for the same amount of health should also stay constant. I found I could rarely upgrade bows because I had to spend so much on health. I had to spend so much on health because of the other problem, which was that if an enemy wound up for a swing while I was close, even if I was well across the field by time it swung, I still took damage, though I was well out of melee range. Besides these minor things this game was solid and fun as hell to play.

Oh my.

This game really is evil.

It's good but

it still has a long way to come. In making classic games new again it would help to add some fancy doo-dads in there, even if just some smooth sound effects and music. A separate menu page and perhaps a short history of the game might make it a little better as well.
